Gallery Submissions Guidelines

The Bender Gallery exhibits studio glass art by professional artists. We welcome submissions from trained artists with credentials. If you would like your artwork to be reviewed by The Bender Gallery for possible representation, please follow the guidelines below.

We have recently revised our submission policy. Please read the following thoroughly before you consider submitting work.

Submissions that do not follow our guidelines will not be considered.

VIA EMAIL
Artists may submit 10 – 15 low resolution (72 dpi) jpegs. Please indicate the title, medium, dimensions, when it was made and retail price of each image. Also the current status of each piece (if it is available to be shown/sold at our gallery, on exhibition at another gallery along with where and commitment date end or if sold). In addition, an up-to-date curriculum vitae is required. Artists may also include a link to their website.

These submissions may be sent to: miles@thebendergallery.com It is not necessary to send a follow up email. We will contact you only if we are interested.

VIA MAIL
Artists may submit 10 – 15 high resolution (3 – 5 MB each) jpegs on CD. Please indicate the title, processes, dimensions, when it was made and retail price of each image. Also the current status of the piece (if it is available to be shown/sold at our gallery, on exhibition at another gallery along with where and commitment date end or if sold). In addition, an up-to-date curriculum vitae is required.

Please DO NOT send originals or slides. Mark your package Attn: Miles Bender/Submissions

NOTE: Materials will not be returned under any circumstances. Please do not include a self addressed stamped envelope, Fedex envelope or similar carrier envelope. Additionally, The Bender Gallery is not responsible for any lost items.

Please do not bring original work to the gallery to accompany your portfolio if you choose to drop your portfolio off at the gallery. After the review, we will set up a First Hand Review if we are interested.
